Location: the hotel was close to the bay & shops and eateries and several restaurants. I had coffee at Columbus Coffee, located within 15 minutes walk. The room was good-sized and with a nice view of the sea.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

We recently stayed at a motor lodge in Timaru for a family vacation and had a great experience. The location was perfect for us, as it was conveniently located close to shops and right off State Highway 1. Our room had a fantastic view over Caroline Bay, which was a lovely sight to wake up to. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The staff provided excellent service, making check-in and settling our account a breeze. we were very satisfied with our stay.
The noise from the main road outside the motor lodge was quite noticeable when we were outside, but once inside our room, it was not a problem.

Convenient Location: Situated in the heart of Timaru, this hotel provides easy access to business meetings, shopping, cafes, and more. It's like having everything at your doorstep, but without the hassle of actually having to open your front door.
TV-Light Connection: Sometimes, turning on a light in the room would momentarily interrupt the TV signal. It's like a game of musical chairs, but instead of chairs, it's lights and TVs.

Great weekend away! The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do; close to town and easy to find. The room was clean and comfortable. We had plenty of space for our family and the views were amazing. We especially loved the fact that there was plenty of available car parking and a big bathroom.
There were a few issues with the room. The couch wasn't the most comfortable and the hair dryer provided didn't work very well, so it took forever to dry my hair.
